In visual communication, it is important to avoid stereotypes that oversimplify or misrepresent certain groups of people. Designers and creators should focus on diversity, authenticity and respectful representation when creating images. Research also shows that images and media can sometimes reproduce social biases or stereotypes if they rely on biased data, which makes careful and responsible visual design even more important.
